The objective of the Fast Fiction Friday exercise is to write with complete focus on the given subject. One of the best ways to accomplish this task is to write for a set amount of time, without distractions and without editing. Let the words flow from your mind to the paper and ignore self doubt and outside issues. The goal is to become so addicted to writing that you can't help but do it! All writers are welcome whether you write short stories, poems, memoirs, non-fiction, essays or a personal journal. Feel free to share your work or link back.

How to use FFF

Feel free to post your finished material in the comments section under each prompt or go to the Fast Fiction Friday Facebook Group and post there. You may also link to your own blog or just keep it to yourself. :o)
Remember, Fast Fiction is fiction written fast. Set your timer for 30 minutes and write as much as you can in that time frame. It’s okay if you go over the 30 minute time limit… it’s just to give you a block of time to FINISH the writing before editing. Don’t worry about how good it is or about the dirty dishes in the sink!
